Design Development of Detection System and Ro-Ro Ship Notification based on Fuzzy Inference System

Ship stability is very important for the safety of ship motion. There are many factors that affect a ship. One causes accidents on ships problem stability, including cannot be controlled, and loses balance due to improper placement cargo loads. This study combines gyroscopes, accelerometers, compasses, GPS sensors, so more accurate tilt information obtained through an Android smartphone application. uses fuzzy inference system (FIS) method with trapezoidal membership function where there 2 inputs 1 output. input 3 linguistic variables tilted, stable. The slope duration 5 fast, fairly slow, slow variables. status output divided into safe, alert, dangerous. Testing implementation 4.8 10 seconds using Sugeno method, ship's crips value 0.65 alert was obtained. Calculation accuracy gyroscope sensor error MAPE result percentage 6.55% (very good). 39 trials (36 correct incorrect) 92.30% research expected make it easier captain monitor can provide notification if condition needs watched out for. In addition, will also received by Port officers land.
